It's that time of the year again ...
I love Bare Minerals!
Yes, as in the make up products :)
Surprised? Well, you're not the only one. I'm surprised at myself too, considering I'm not the make-up type and considering there has been several attempts (untuk menjebakkan diriku dalam dunia kecantikan yang very pricey ini!) before, but all failed nonetheless :)
Anyway, it started with a simple visit to S3ph0ra with original intention of accompanying a good friend (who is also a Professional Make Up Artist) to buy her stuff, followed by her testing several products on my face and the next thing I know, I was at the counter paying Bare Minerals products for myself! Tumpas jugak akhirnya :)
I know, I'm such a late bloomer, eh? Learning to paint my face at the age of (almost) 30? Well, in my defense, I was young and my complexion looked (so much) better then. But now that I'm entering the dreaded 3-0 and the skin is threatening to show its flaws, I succumb and have to agree that makeup is a necessary evil.
But seriously though, I love, love, love Bare Minerals. They're so easy to apply, not time-consuming, looks natural and I especially love the fact that I can sleep with the make-up on :) I fell in love with it the moment I had the prime on my face -- it felt so light and comfortable on my skin! It makes my skin tone look more even. And I appreciate how thoughtful they are -- the starter kit includes all the basic (natural) colors and brushes in one box, which makes a beginner's life, like yours truly, so much easier!

There is a down side of this product though -- it is probably not for everybody. If you have a lot of old acne scars then this product is probably not the best for you as it doesn't 'cover' as good as liquid foundation. Well, at least that's what my professional make-up artist friend told me ...

... after a long hiatus :)
