Boys and their toys ...

My Toddler is turning 3 years old in a few weeks and I still can't believe how fast time flies! I look at him and often wonder - when, and how, did he get so big? It felt like it was only yesterday that I first held him in my arms and today he is all grown up!

For his 3rd birthday party, we decided that this year we are just going to celebrate at home. His 2nd birthday was celebrated at Burg3rK1ng and he didn't enjoy it AT ALL! He hated the noise and he especially hated the mascot (so much that I had to halau the mascot as my Toddler was screaming his lungs out). Aaah, what a stressful party that was! My Toddler ni nampak ajer macho but the truth is that he is actually a softie at heart and kuaaaaaaat merajuk!

Initially I plan to get him a ride-on toy as his 3rd birthday present -- an electric-powered car similar to the one in the picture below but OtherHalf thought that a bicycle is probably more practical, which is true as he's been getting ride-on toys for the past 2 birthdays and those toys are hardly touched these days. Bagus juga idea bicycle tu, at least he can ride outside with the other kids and plus, it's a lotttt cheaper than the electric ride-on toy :)

Pic googled.

Lightning McQueen car for his 1st birthday and Little Tikes Ride for his 2nd birthday.

So today, we went out early morning to the bicycle shop and found just the right one! The size is just nice, color is black and red and harga pun not that expensive. And when we presented the bicycle to him, he was sooo excited terus nak ride the bicycle outside.

New bicycle!

Mommy and Dada are over excited as we've been trying to teach him how to ride a bicycle for quite a while now but he never showed much interest. Tiba2 hari ni dah ada basikal sendiri, pandai lah pulak dia ride sendiri! Hehehe. Anyway, we are taking him to the park this afternoon so he could ride his new bicycle there to his heart's content. Will post more pics soon :)
