Apakah itu?
It's Tepung Pelita, baby!
Kira lulus tak ni? :)
Or, to be exact, home-made tepung pelita. He he he!
Don't play2 ahh ... yours truly can make tepung pelita now. Got the recipe from here but I quartered the ingredients sebab nak try dulu .. kot tak menjadi taklah membazir. Nasib baik jadi and rasa pun boleh la tahan (kot).
For those who know me in person mesti terkejut .. hah? Miss Flamingo buat kuih melayu? Apa kes? FYI, I am not a fan of kuih melayu. Honestly, I can't even tell the name of the kuehs (as I don't eat them) and the only kueh melayu that I love is Karipap, which probably isn't even an authentic kueh melayu. I am ashamed to admit that I have only started eating kueh melayu after we migrated to this country. Biasalah kan, bila kat Ms14, kuih2 tu semua easily accessable kat tepi jalan taknak pandang. Bila dah tinggal kat negara orang and daun pandan pun susah nak carik, baru lah nak ingat asal usul, baru lah sebok nak belajar buat kueh melayu. Huh! :)
Nantikan "Kuih melayu : project 2" pula (tapi entah bila la kan).

Oh, well done you! I love tepung pelita, my fave kuih melayu, but for some strange reason, I think it tastes exceptionally sedap during bulan puasa. It's like a perfect ending to any buka puasa lauk :)
Oh yum! They look delicious. I've made them a few times, tasted good but they were not the same without banana leaves. I know, can't be picky but I really miss kueh2 from Malaysia. I found frozen banana leaves but too lazy to make the squares for 'em. So can't blame anything but meself. LoL
I've started feeding my son 3 teaspoons of rice cereal at 4 months, per his Pedic and this boy loves food too much! Next month unsweetened apple juice. He's my first so everything is exciting.
cemerlang.. cemerlang... proud of u!
